The day that was "Port Dickson"
Saturday, 29th September 2007, Port Dickson, The day certainly started early enough with some of us were already up even before dawn. As the whizzing pass of transports started with picking up members, everyone was there in church and ready for the fun filled day out that is Port Dickson.
The Ride there was a short and pleasant one. with Anticipation high and expectation soaring through the roof, we reached shortly within an hour and a half. We reached an empty beach (Bulan Puasa, YAY!!) and the tide was in. The water was surprisingly clear as no one was at the beach. We were all getting ready to go swim when the mgmt team called us to some ice breaking game. There were some groans and grunts of disapproval but everyone was in such a cheery uppity mood that it didn't really matter.
We started of with a modified galah panjang and followed but some sandcastle building with story telling. all in all it was fun. and too soon it was already lunch. so we ate, and ate, and ate .. till we cannot eat no more. then we ate some more. after food, we went out to the beach and it was low tide. We walked like 400Meters to get to water. we played rugby and caught crabs and fish.
And before you know it, like when all the time when you have fun, it was time to go. We were dragging our feet and grumbling as it was time to go home. we packed and waved goodbye. we reach KL some time later. In the bus we were asleep with imaged of the sand, the sea, the sun, the food, the nasi lemak, the sausages, the watermelon, the fun, the friends and the fellowship. little did many know, a closer bond was etablished that day. A tighter familyhood. A cleaved friendship. Money cannot buy experiences like this. Group Peter, we are indeed getting closer and more family. May we always carry this joy of togetherness even beyond the group. You guys are the best.
Loving you all in Group Peter
