The Cookout!!! PETER CAN WOK!!!

About 2 weeks ago, Group Peter gathered in Peter's room and exclusively and privately Peter, we had a cook out. A cooking competition to see who in Group Peter can really Wok with it. Since we won 1st place for Petra can Wok (which we now officially has changed it to Peter can WOk) we thought "why not have an internal cooking competition to see those ideas that we did not get to use for the PCW.

And boy can I tell you that there was no regret. Amazing, simply amazing what these people can come up with. We had almost 100% participation. Great work guys. I am truly impressed. And below you will see the food, and the person who prepared that food.

YOU ARE FIRED!!!!

Caught your attention there didn't I? Haha. Good, now read on. This is Petra Gospel Centre's very own Apprentice. Beware the Mr Chang and his Chang Tower (rumoured to be somewhere in Imbi). It is that time again for the carnival challenge. Where we are to present to him the best selling game and booth for carnival.

Do you have edge. Can you be more innovative than Silas' dunking machine? can you be more action packed than John Mark's Battle or Die? Can you be more rewarding than Titus' Triple Play? Can you be more original than Onesimus' The Green Storm?

If you can't even beat those, don't bother. But if you think you can give them a run for their money, then come with your ideas or just come and see those who have brains bigger than their skull can carry present these new and mind boggling ideas of games. see you there. Don't be late, or your be FIRED!!!!

Come for the excitement, stay for the Fellowship!!!

Lee Stroble answers the un-answerable

This saturday as we come to church, bring along an open mind and the hunger to find out more as we electronically import an ex-aethist to come answer some really thought provoking questions. be ready with hearts and minds open as we come experience a tongue-in-cheek

The day that was "Port Dickson"

Saturday, 29th September 2007, Port Dickson, The day certainly started early enough with some of us were already up even before dawn. As the whizzing pass of transports started with picking up members, everyone was there in church and ready for the fun filled day out that is Port Dickson.

The Ride there was a short and pleasant one. with Anticipation high and expectation soaring through the roof, we reached shortly within an hour and a half. We reached an empty beach (Bulan Puasa, YAY!!) and the tide was in. The water was surprisingly clear as no one was at the beach. We were all getting ready to go swim when the mgmt team called us to some ice breaking game. There were some groans and grunts of disapproval but everyone was in such a cheery uppity mood that it didn't really matter.

We started of with a modified galah panjang and followed but some sandcastle building with story telling. all in all it was fun. and too soon it was already lunch. so we ate, and ate, and ate .. till we cannot eat no more. then we ate some more. after food, we went out to the beach and it was low tide. We walked like 400Meters to get to water. we played rugby and caught crabs and fish.

And before you know it, like when all the time when you have fun, it was time to go. We were dragging our feet and grumbling as it was time to go home. we packed and waved goodbye. we reach KL some time later. In the bus we were asleep with imaged of the sand, the sea, the sun, the food, the nasi lemak, the sausages, the watermelon, the fun, the friends and the fellowship. little did many know, a closer bond was etablished that day. A tighter familyhood. A cleaved friendship. Money cannot buy experiences like this. Group Peter, we are indeed getting closer and more family. May we always carry this joy of togetherness even beyond the group. You guys are the best.

Loving you all in Group Peter

Ernest Wee (Commander of Group Peter)
